Scope
BCI's services were obtained by Givaudan Flavors Corporation to perform a water permit review and a regulatory and geologic assessment of their plant in Lakeland, Florida.
The plant consisted of a product warehouse, a processing building, a maintenance storage building, two holding tank farms, and an office building situated on a nine-acre parcel.
BCI staff performed the following tasks:

Site inspection

Interview with operations personnel

Review of current water use permit and available records

Sampling and field testing of the recovery and injection water

Review of current and historical aerial photographs of the area

Research of published local and regional geologic and hydrogeologic data to evaluate the potential for sinkhole development

Preparation of a summary report
