Scope
 The Medard Reservoir is classified as a high hazard dam within the State of Florida. BCI has provided comprehensive professional engineering services to Kisinger Campo & Associates (KCA) and the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) associated with Medard Reservoir. Those services have included dam breach and downstream flood routing analyses associated with the construction of the emergency overflow spillway.
In addition, BCI has provided geotechnical support for investigation of seepage problems at the site and the design and implementation of monitoring programs associated with the seepage conditions. BCI has also developed and provided erosion protection recommendations for the embankments. BCI currently provides annual dam inspection services and associated reporting.
