The team is led by certified professional geologists and additional staff specializing in geology, hydrology, and environmental sciences.  We are often asked to provide expert testimony and litigation support concerning a variety of environmental issues that include groundwater impacts; quality and quantity issues; landfill gas migration and impacts; and wetland impacts associated with commercial, industrial, recreational and private development properties.

The identification and development of sustainable groundwater supplies is an integral component of a sustainable community.  BCI staff have extensive experience in understanding a community’s water supply goal and completing detailed groundwater exploration investigations and hydrogeologic evaluations.  Upon identification of a viable groundwater supply, we assist clients with technical evaluation, permitting, and monitoring of their water supplies.  We also provide wellhead delineation evaluations for each water supply location. 

BCI provides cost-effective environmental monitoring plans and sampling protocol to effectively monitor operating or abandoned solid and hazardous waste sites.  We assist clients in the evaluation and modification of existing monitoring plans, and develop plans that reduce monitoring costs.  We can also assist in the evaluation of proposed waste disposal sites and the preparation and submittal of solid and hazardous waste facility permit applications and closure certification documentation, including environmental assessments, monitoring, and hydrogeologic evaluations.

For property investors, environmental due diligence is an essential component of the acquisition process.  BCI professionals complete environmental site assessments in compliance with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) criteria and client specific needs.  We provide complete environmental assessment services and follow up with technical recommendations to further reduce the uncertainties associated with identified conditions and assist with the development of remediation plans.
