BCI has conducted environmental site assessments to facilitate real estate transactions, ensure regulatory compliance, provide safe work environments, and reduce or eliminate potential harmful impacts to the environment. Our experience encompasses all stages of the process from initial Phase I assessment to Phase II assessment and remediation design as required.

BCI performed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) for First National Bank at a commercial property in Flint, Michigan.  BCI performed the site inspection to determine whether site conditions and/or surrounding sites possessed potential environmental liabilities, assessed potential issues related to adjacent properties, and determined if these issues would adversely impact the subject properties.

Alma Transit Facility Phase I & II ESA

BCI staff, formerly part of Insight Environmental Services, Inc., performed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) for the City of Alma at a five-acre parcel, which comprised a portion of a former local airport. The City wanted to develop the property to use for their public transit facility.

Quikrete Sand Mine Environmental Site Assessment

BCI was hired by The Quikrete Companies, Inc. to perform a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) on an area for potential development for an ongoing mining operation. The project required soil characterization and land-use criteria and development requirements.

Purada Processing Facility

In June 2005, BCI was retained by Hygeia Health & Safety Services, Inc. to conduct a Phase I Environmental Assessment (ESA) of the Purada Processing, LLC property in Lakeland, Florida. The site is located in an industrial area and is operated as a facility for the manufacture of biodiesel fuel and associated by-products.

Environmental Accessories Property

In 2006, BCI was retained by the American Lokring Corporation to conduct Phase I and II Environmental Assessments (ESAs) of the Environmental Accessories property, which was formerly operated as a storage and non-transport  facility for hazardous materials associated with an environmental remediation business. The assessment was completed in accordance with applicable ASTM Standards (E1528-05, E1903-97(2003)).
