BCI announces the promotion of Carl Christmann, Director of Geotechnical Engineering & Mining to Vice President – Geotechnical Engineering & Mining

Mr. Christmann has more than 14 years experience related to the design and construction of a wide variety of geotechnical projects including reservoir design, dredging, foundation design, site investigation, soil improvement and construction oversight. He also has extensive experience in investigating and remediating sinkhole-impacted structures and other settlement related problems. Mr. Christmann has performed geotechnical design work on dredge water return systems, dredge disposal areas, buildings, bridges, roadways, dams, impoundments, and industrial facilities for numerous public and private entities. Mr. Christmann earned his Bachelor of Engineering in civil engineering from Vanderbilt University in 1995.  He is licensed as a professional engineer in Florida, South Carolina, and Michigan and holds memberships in the American Society of Civil Engineers, Deep Foundations Institute, and the Association of State Dam Safety Officials.
